Seneca Cayuga ARC is proud to have two volunteers featured in an upcoming publication by the state organization, NYSARC, Inc.
Each year, NYSARC, Inc. publishes, “NYSARC Gives Back” which is an initiative spearheaded by NYSARC president,
Jack Schuppenhauer of Canandaigua. The publication highlights volunteer efforts by ARC chapters throughout the state.
For nearly 20 years, Seneca Cayuga ARC has contracted with the U. S. Department of Defense for the production of headgear for military personnel. From the knit and textile production site in Seneca Falls, the agency manufactures both black knit and grey fleece caps, each of which must meet strict specifications prior to being accepted for distribution to newly-enlisted army and naval personnel.
Seneca Cayuga ARC is comprised of people dedicated to assisting and supporting individuals with disabilities, their families and the community in Seneca and Cayuga Counties, New York. We provide opportunities and choices for treatment, employment, education, recreation and community living to assist individuals with disabilities in realizing a productive and fulfilling life.
