Seneca Cayuga ARC is a tax exempt 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization. We are the largest provider of services for persons with intellectual and other developmental disabilities in the Finger Lakes region of New York. Comprised of 600 dedicated staff members, we assist and support 1,200 persons and their families throughout Cayuga and Seneca Counties.
We are a state chapter of NYSARC, Inc. and a member of the national organization, The Arc. We participate in The Collaborative of the Finger Lakes, a cooperative of 12 agencies that serve individuals with developmental disabilities in our area. We also are a United Way agency partner.
We provide opportunities and choices for treatment, employment, education, recreation and living arrangements to assist each individual with intellectual and other developmental disabilities in realizing a productive and fulfilling life in the community.
We believe that the people we serve and our staff are our greatest resource and should always be treated with dignity and respect.
We believe that all people should be given the opportunity to achieve their full potential in an environment that promotes personal growth and support individual life choices.
We are committed to standards of excellence to ensure quality of services.
We work to promote open communication and teamwork.
We will provide a safe and accessible work environment for the people we serve and our staff.
