...a Personal Care Assistant can help fill the gap. Seneca Cayuga ARC staff will support the individual and their family as they choose, train, and schedule their own Personal Care Assistant. In this way, family can be assured that their loved one will receive compassionate, considerate assistance with hygiene, exercise, medication and communication. This Medicaid-funded program often serves as an alternative to long-term care or nursing home placement.
